Two bombings hit Damascus and its suburbs

At least one person was killed and several injured Wednesday, December 12 in two bomb attacks in the heart of Damascus and its southeastern suburbs, said Syrian official news agency, SANA.

In a parking lot behind the old courthouse in the district of Qanawat the center of Damascus, two magnetic bombs placed on vehicles simultaneously exploded, wounding one and damage, reported SANA. And one person was killed and five others injured also by the explosion of two bombs Jaramana in the south-eastern outskirts of the capital, the agency said.

"Terrorists have two bombs exploded this morning in the middle of the road at the entrance to the neighborhood Qrayyat Jaramana killing one and wounding five others," said SANA. In official terminology, the word terrorist means the rebels. According to a member of the regional council quoted by the two explosions occurred at fifteen minute intervals.

Located about ten kilometers south-east of Damascus, Jaramana locality pro-regime where the majority of Druze and Christians, has been the subject of four attacks in the past. The bloodiest had 54 dead and 120 wounded, 28 November.
